Archery in Plano: Meet, Shoot & Connect
Join us for a fun indoor archery meetup in Plano — a great way to try something different, have fun, and meet new people. The range does not take reservations, so it is first-come, first-served, which means we’ll want to arrive on time. The cost is $10 per hour for a lane, and equipment rental is about $20 extra unless you bring your own gear. When: May 28, 2026, 6 pm - 7 pm Where: Mission Ridge Range & Academy 4340 Mapleshade Lane, Plano, TX 75093 **UPDATE:** Quick update for our Archery Meetup: The range does not take reservations and has 8 lanes, so lane access will be first-come, first-served. Since **we now have a larger group, we’ll keep this casual and rotate in small groups** so everyone gets a chance to shoot. Writers, Words, and Good Company
This meetup is for anyone who loves writing, whether you’re just *thinking* of starting, you are starting, actively working on something, or have already been published. Bring a short piece to share (if you want to), or you can just listen to what others want to share. Writers will have 2–3 minutes each to read a short excerpt and get feedback from the group in a supportive setting. We’ll dedicate an hour to sharing and feedback, then leave the rest of the time for mingling, conversation, and maybe drinks afterward. Depending on the number of people interested, we will have the event at either The Prosper Library **or** Panera at The Gates of Prosper.
